Bolivian Rosewood is more feminine than masculine, though it holds both energies. Through a hard veneer, it is soft and flowing. It holds earnest, deep, soulful love. It is not shallow or frilly. Spalted Maple is Maple that has started to decay and fungus has infiltrated the wood, creating the black lines and streaks. Maple in its raw form carries the energy of beauty, sweetness, and strength.
